We run a small PA rig hire facility which is ideal for the smaller gig where clarity is essential...
Most suitable for: Jazz, Blues, Cabaret, Folk, small classical ensembles, theatre, dinner dance, PTA, club and association functions, and small rock and pop gigs, with the proviso that if your backline exceeds 600 watts,
then I would suggest a far larger PA with bigger headroom.
We are very reasonably priced, can supply a variety of microphones (both Dynamic or Condensors), DI box solutions,
and we can also supply quality backline amplification:
Backline: Hughes and Kettner bass rig 250 watt, Mesa Boogie Rocket 44 guitar combo, Hughes and Kettner ATS modelling amp combo
We can also supply instrumentation, a Yamaha silent electronic drum kit, a variety of basses (double,fretless, fretted) and guitars (large choice), and a Yamaha stage s70 keyboard, should the need arise...
The PA arrives with a sound engineer and is set up and run with the minimum of fuss, the rig comprises modular set ups from 300 watt to 1600 watt with 300 watt sub bass, 100 watt wedge monitoring, speakers on stands and floor throws,
the emphasis is always on clarity, so a mixture of passive and active PA amplification is employed to give the best of both worlds
other key equipment includes a variety of stage, near stage mixing or front of house mixing, the rig is unsuitable for large multicore applications, which would most likely indicate a larger rig should be used.
